Yes. it's in a mall
Favorite place to get Chinese food so far. A few issues with new staffs unfamilair of take out order prices but easily resolved.
Prompt service, well managed establishment. The pork pastry is absolutely fantastic.
I went there several times but I am total lose my faith to this restaurant. Food was on average level. Apart from that, I want to share my bad experience as a customer, firstly, the uninviting staff were making me and my family immediately unwelcome. And there was one waiter never smiles and acting pretty unprofessional. I doubt him never wash his hands after smoking at outside of the restaurant. On top of that, he treated us so rude when we were dinning, he took my dishes away without asking and the worst part was he threw my chopstick on the table, I questioning him immediately/: why are doing this to me, I haven't finish my food and why are you taking away. He was just turning his back to me and ignored my questions. WHAT A FREAK! Second, the decor of this restaurant is just depressing, I feel very uncomfortable when I was sitting there and I would never go there again.
Best dim sum place in Toronto. Service is okay. Sometimes they will forget to bring stuff you ordered and have to remind them.
A very nice Chinese restaurant. They make good foods.
Good foods. Good prices. Management have improved significantly.
The restaurant is located in a mall that has a chinese supermarket so the feel is quite authentic to the Hong Kong style. You order from different menus and to me I was there for dim sum ( I did order other dishes). The decor is a bit weird (sportswear framed on a wall) but I guess people are there for the food. I could see that there were more families visited the restaurant. Some really big families too. Hence the slowness of delivering ordered dishes. The service was alright, waiters and waitresses are friendly. It was busy on Saturday so the waiting time was 20mins or more for a dish to come.
Delicious dim sum all day! The menu items are quite big. The biggest siu mai and har gau I've seen!
You know this place is good because 90% of the diners area Asian and the caucasian reviewers don't like the food/service. Best Dim Sum in London. 100%
I was surprised they charge Chinese tea per person, and service is terrible, but food is good. I might go again
Best dim sum in London. Service is quick, and everybody is super friendly. Walked in with a large group and they immediately accommodated us.
The dim sum is good. I wouldn't say great but probably the best in London. But the service is unbelievably bad. I also find the place less then clean.. And I suspect they cheap out on industry standard cleaning chemicals. There is a chlorine odor in the air. We asked for a glass of water for our 5 yr old. Took forever for them to bring it. Then we wouldn't let her drink it as it had a quite a strong chemical taste that burnt my lips. I think a health inspector would have a few things to say about this place.
First time there and it won't be the last. Food was amazing. Hot and fresh.
Good service even during weekend lunch rush. Our order was perfect & all the dishes were delicious.
Delicious & authentic dim sum. Truly a madhouse of action kn the weekends. Go for lunch during the week for better service and honestly, tastier food. My personal favourite is the fried stuffed peppers - they're a little spicy! The steamed shrimp dumplings are classic. Go with a larger group so you can try more items!
This is probably one of the best and most authentic Chinese restaurants in London. You will not be disappointed for the food, and the price is very reasonable. After trying several goos rating Asian restaurants, we always go this one each time we visit London.
My parents were visiting from Toronto so we took them here for dim sum. We were impressed with the quality of the food. The wrapping on the beef rice noodle rolls was nice and soft. Best taro cake my parents and I ever had... there were actual taro pieces and the portions were thick. Beef balls were large and came with bean curd sheets instead of peas. Pineapple BBQ bun had lots of filling and the bun itself wasn't too thick. The stuffed peppers and eggplant had shrimp paste instead of fish paste. Overall, many of the dim sum were surprisingly better than what we've had in the GTA.
Besides a mystery hot pepper spoiling my wife's palette for about 15 mins. It was excellent. We had the Peking and bbq duck which was so delicious. Every dish was very authentic. Cant wait to go back.
Food was good but the service was bad..
Clean and tidy, food came as ordered and tasty
Extremely authentic Chinese restaurant with a wide selection of dim sum and stir fry items. You gotta try the Stir Fried Lobster and Egg tarts, they are to die for. Super delicious with great service, i'll definitely be returning :)!
If you like real Chinese cuisine, this is the spot for you. Very pedestrian surroundings but portions a tasty, ample, and affordable. Avoid the rib dishes as they fall short. All else is a go.
Ordered delivery from them and ended up with really bad diarrhea, vomiting, and stomachache...disappointed
Just ate dinner there with my boyfriend as reccomended by several people, and we were absolutely blown away. We ordered the BBQ pork appetizer (made in house) and you MUST get it. Our waitress was very kind and helped reccomend and pick out our food (thank you!!) The BBQ pork buns were so soft and airy, like a cloud. Spare ribs in black bean sauce was also so delicious. We orderedd 2 other dishes and left with full bellies and leftovers and the price was very good. Im not sure why there are so many reviews saying it is pricey but I feel like you get what you pay for and it was amazing. We will definitely be going back!
It was one out of two dim sum restaurant in this small London Town. The food was better than I expected. Only the salty egg bun not recommended.Baked bolo BBQ pork was good. Custard cake, crispy shrimp roll were good also, Highly recommended.Overall, It was good to try and I will come back for it.
Nothing fancy - but the food was delicious and the service was fast and efficient!
I love all of foods in London Chinese resturant! So delicious!
Authentic Chinese food. Speedy service. Very fairly priced.
Awful. We go because of there being very few chinese places to go to. We have put up with their awful service long enough. This past week was the last straw. Sat us at a horrible table by the bathrooms again when seats were available by the window, AND placed an already used tablecloth on our table. If we could give a lower rating, we would.
Good food, good atmosphere, and moderate service. One of the better dim sum place in London
Was good. Fairly good prices and service. Pretty quick with the food too. I would go back.. was my first visit. Didn't serve shark's fin dumplings my wifes favorite. Most dim sum restaurants do. Over all .. good
The food was prepared perfectly, service was good, and prices were very reasonable.
Very good Dim Sum & very friendly good service
Reasonable price but the food took an hour to come! (even after we were told it would be 20 mins from ordering)
I love this place- we often go for lunch with my partners Chinese family. They have wonderful authentic Chinese food . The food has really grown on me, to the point that I crave it constantly! It's best to make a reservation in advance as it is Always packed. The Best sign that it is Great!
Love the authentic Chinese food especially the dimsums but the wait to be seated part is a bit of a turn off. Maybe expand spaces?
The London Chinese Restaurant deserves top marks. We split our time in Canada between London and Toronto and are always searching for the perfect and most authentic Chinese food. By far this is the top Chinese Restaurant in London from its Cantonese style dishes through to its Dim Sum. We have been so happy with our previous experiences that we recently hosted an important function at the restaurant and the food and service were excellent! In fact, the Manager spend considerable time to help us design the perfect menu in advance (i.e., Peking Duck, Lobster, and etc.) and her staff even helped with our set-up and decorations on the day. All our guests had such a great time and we can't wait to have our next function at the restaurant!
Food is yummy. Dim sum is pretty expensive.
Great restaurant for dim sum and also lunch/dinner. Love it!
Don’t get me wrong but the food is delicious and amazing overall but the service is “ horrible “. We were only 2 ppl. The waitress kept on letting ppl behind go first because they were 4 ppl. They are extra nice to Canadian ppl. I’m not racist but that is wrong. We stood there watching ppl getting tables and decided to leave after 45 minutes. We usually spend well over $100 just for the two of us. Very disappointed. And yeah... plz read the reviews for improvements.
Very fast and friendly service for a busy restaurant! Definitely coming back!
Service was good and they have the authentic Chinese cuisines.
Food was ok especially you really don’t have much choices at London.
Very delicious and authentic Chinese food. Portion is big so beware. Service was decent, although we felt a bit being rushed when ordering.
Had an excellent lunch at the London Chinese Restaurant. Menu had a lot of items and everything looked amazing, ended up settling on the spicy beef stir fry. Was more food than I could handle in one sitting, had to bring some home.
A great place in London Ontario to get dim sum and authentic Chinese food. Lots of variety of delicious food. Fast and efficient service. And reasonably priced too!
Not fresh dim sum at all
I came to this restaurant for dinner. The food was alright but the chicken was not too fresh. I got an allergic reaction the next day even when I don't have any known allergies. The doctor said it might be from a virus from the food. Stay away at all cost.
The food is so tasty and full of flavour and the portions are very large
Best dim sum in town. Always busy place. Service is not great but adequate.
